Raymond Zhai approached Mike Ching, the go-to expert for distinctive personal branding, to elevate Zhai & Associates’ identity. At Design by Ching, under Mike’s direction, we developed a unique signature “Z” monogram to represent the firm’s bold identity. Our work extended beyond the logo to encompass a comprehensive brand strategy, including a cohesive design system with curated colors, typography, service icons, and print materials such as business cards, reception signage, and paperwork designs.

To position Zhai & Associates in the digital space, we crafted a savvy social media strategy leveraging TikTok and Instagram Reels for bite-sized legal advice snippets, ensuring the signature “Z” mark was subtly integrated—think stitched logos on suits for a sleek, high-end look befitting Sydney’s most influential criminal lawyer. This strategy propelled Zhai to viral fame, garnering millions of views and earning features on The Today Show and The Daily Telegraph, with national coverage across major media outlets.
